Rice:- To be placed inside the Kalash.
Flowers and Garlands:- For decoration.
Red Cloth:- For wrapping the Kalash.
Diya (Lamp):- For lighting.
Incense Sticks:- For offering.

Steps for Kalash Sthapana:
Clean the Area:- Choose a clean and auspicious spot in the house where the Kalash will be placed. Clean the area thoroughly.
Prepare the Kalash:- Wash the Kalash with water to purify it, Place a small mound of rice at the bottom of the Kalash, Fill the Kalash with water, leaving some space at the top.
Add Mango Leaves:- Arrange the mango leaves around the mouth of the Kalash. The leaves should form a canopy around the top.
Place the Coconut:- Wrap the coconut in a red cloth and place it on top of the Kalash. The coconut represents Lord Ganesha and is an offering to invoke his blessings.
Decorate the Kalash:- Decorate the Kalash with flowers, garlands, and other decorative items.
Perform the Puja:- Light a diya (lamp) and incense sticks.
Prayers and Invocation:- Pray to Goddess Durga and seek her blessings for prosperity, health, and happiness during the Navratri festival.
Maintain the Kalash:- Ensure that the Kalash remains undisturbed throughout the Navratri period. Some families may keep the Kalash at a prominent place where it is regularly worshiped.
